January 8, 2025–Correction: Guayaquil, Ecuador

Just a short note to say we are not in Uruguay, we are in Ecuador. Actually, Uruguay is 4,973 nautical miles from here. That kind of trip would take about 23 days. And I know where Uruguay is because we were there a year ago and it is definitely sandwiched between Brazil and Argentina. My apologies. My only excuse is that I write these blogs at night and I’m usually pretty tired, so my proofreading is sketchy. More later!
